How do I sign up for events??
There are sign up geniuses for most events - Music Mentors is based on membership in the start of the school year. Sign Up Geniuses are sent out through email and located on the Event Opportunities doc in the signature of the emails.
How do I submit my credits??
Fill out the credit submission form. If you were the event coordinator, indicate that on the form.
I signed up for an event but I can't make it. What should I do?
You MUST find someone to take your place and email your event coordinator and secretary.chstrim@gmail.com about this change. We will remove your name from the sign up website. If you cannot find a substitute, you will be required to complete an additional event for the semester.
Is there still a required performance credit?
Nope! But you still can do performance events for credits, for the love of music!
It's almost the end of the semester, there are no more events, and I don't have enough credits. Is there anything I can do?
Yes, ask a music teacher about sorting the music library, or do a personal event by reaching out in the community for events. Remember, you cannot use such hours for any other volunteer requirement, or be paid.
When should I complete the credit submission form?
As soon as possible. If you don't make it by the end of the semester, you never did that event. Too bad.
What if I don't get enough credits in a semester?
If you have completed 5 credits, you will have to make up the missed credit in addition to the required 6 the following semester. Your membership is considered "lapsed" until you do so. You cannot be lapsed after semester 2 - you will be dismissed.
If you have completed only 4 credits or less, your membership in the honor society will be reviewed and dismissal may result.
What happens if I don't get enough credits for two semesters in a row?
You may be dismissed from this honor society (Also shame on you ಠ_ಠ).
